Zimmerman: After the Trial

Most don’t need to be reminded that before, during and after the Zimmerman murder trial, the mainstream media was steady painting a picture of both the shooter and the deceased. They were careful to leave out key components that otherwise illustrated a different interpretation of Zimmerman and Martin. After all, Martin was unarmed when he was shot, and the leftist media capitalized on twisting that and many other circumstances.

For example, before the trial began, NBC purposely edited the 911 call Zimmerman made to turn what seemed to be an open-and-close case of self defense to racial profiling.

As if America needed this deception.

Zimmerman went on to sue NBC for the act of smearing his name and proclaiming him as a racist. No word on the status of the suit, but NBC did in fact apologize for what they labeled an accident.

Ultimately, George Zimmerman, who claims to be Hispanic-white, was found not guilty of all charges against him. Most were not shocked by the verdict, as a majority of onlookers believed the case was not proven. In fact, most of the witnesses brought before the jury either contradicted themselves or literally helped the defense prove their case.

But the African American community didn’t want to accept the verdict and strangely, the FBI announced that the agency had conducted a thorough investigation of its own. The FBI said their probe found no hate crime or hints of racism at all.

A racial witch hunt, featuring Al Sharpton, the racism profiteer.

Bill O’Reilly recently weighed in on the racial division and issues in the black community, only to be labeled a racist by Sharpton. It seems when the issues are addressed, the real issues, the race-stirring Sharpton pulls the race card once again. But O’Reilly shot back in a riveting yet professional manner that was surreal to black American’s who took the opportunity to tune in to Fox News that day. I implore American’s of all races to take the time to view it.

Ultimately, it’s impossible to ignore that race was purposely injected into this case, and it was obvious the liberal media were exploiting this tragedy. While the grievance industry was seeking ‘justice for Trayvon’ last year, it’s hard to escape the fact that the same liberal media chose to ignore some very serious crimes against blacks and whites. In fact, during the trial over the fourth of July weekend, an astounding 72 people were shot and 12 murdered in the city of Chicago. Not surprisingly, few heard of this, and since Obama was a community organizer there, we’d expect a word or two from him. Instead, Obama went public over the Zimmerman verdict.

Other notable incidents during the Zimmerman/Martin debacle have had little-to-none in terms of media coverage. In Brunswick, Georgia on March 21st of this year, a 13-month-old by the name of Antonio West was shot dead in his stroller. Two teenage black males, ages 15 and 17,  shot he and his mother when she didn’t have what they demanded.

Another incident in June of 2012 involved the murder of a young white male by 4 would-be robbers. Ages ranging from 27 to 33, the black males opened fire on Marley Lion, a 17-year-old from Charleston, South Carolina. He was unarmed and the incident seemed unprovoked. But despite the circumstances, the story was short-lived and did not receive the attention the Zimmerman/Martin incident did. Click HERE to view the short video.

Ask yourselves why.

These are merely a couple of the many stories that didn’t receive the same outrage as the Martin shooting. It would be naïve to believe there’s not a conspiracy in this country to divide the races, but for what reason? Why does the liberal media go out of their way to further demonize whites as the aggressors of blacks?

When blacks comprise of around 14% of America’s population, but are responsible for over 10 times more violent crimes than whites and Hispanics combined, the answer isn’t an easy one to come by.

Something is stewing in our nation, and it’s the responsibility of all races to address it. People are dying, and the black community is pointing the fingers elsewhere at the behest of Al Sharpton and his ilk.

Zimmerman: During the Trial

Zimmerman was not initially charged in the shooting of Trayvon Martin. Police investigators decided that the shooting was in self defense despite Martin being unarmed. When it was ruled that Zimmerman was within his right to shoot via the Stand Your Ground law, the African American community was incited by none other than Al Sharpton. Suddenly, the shooting was in the national spotlight, and demands for an investigation by the State Attorney’s office in Florida were made.

The liberal media also jumped aboard.

The coverage was astounding, but what the media did should be cause for alarm. They made Zimmerman out to be a criminal, depicting him as a white man that racially profiled Martin. In Zimmerman’s written statement, and as witnesses later testified, there were previous break-ins, robberies and a home invasion in the neighborhood he resided in. Vigilance makes common sense.

Before the investigation wrapped up, Zimmerman submitted to a lie detector test. Strangely, the liberal media dropped that from their long list of stories, because after all, he passed the examination with flying colors. Everything Zimmerman wrote in his statement was consistent.

Zimmerman was still ultimately charged, presumably under pressure from Sharpton and the media, that went out of its way to spin deception into the incident.

The trial began after 6 women were chosen to be on the jury. During the trial, the prosecution brought a parade of witnesses before the jury. Testimony from them however, was more damning for the prosecution than the defense. Like the lie detector test, witnesses helped piece together what Zimmerman told police from the beginning. The state was failing miserably, and it became apparent to many that Zimmerman was within the law when he shot Martin.

Zimmerman: Before the Trial

Where were you on February 26, 2012? Ah, difficult to recall, right? The same can be said about the general timeline of the incident that claimed the life of Trayvon Martin. Most of us do not remember the timeline very well, because much of the information gets buried under…well, more information.

Understanding the timeline of the incident is important, in that it allows us to build a foundation in which to later add other evidence or circumstances. With a timeline in front of us, we have a reference point to all events leading up to an eventual trial in a circuit court.

Our timeline begins before Martin and Zimmerman ever met; before that fateful shot was fired.

February 26th

6:24 PM: A store video system shows Trayvon Martin making a purchase of Skittles and Arizona Iced Tea.

6:54 PM: Trayvon Martin makes a call to friend Rachel Jeantel, which lasts about 18 minutes.

7:09 PM: George Zimmerman places a call to Sanford Police Department from his vehicle (non-emergency line).

7:11 PM: Zimmerman explains to the dispatcher that Martin is running. Dispatcher: Are you following him? Zimmerman: Yes. Dispatcher: We don’t need you to do that. Zimmerman: Ok.

7:12 PM: Rachel Jeantel calls Martin again.

7:13 PM: Zimmerman tells the dispatcher that he doesn’t know where Martin is and ends the call.

7:16 PM: Martin’s call with Rachel Jeantel goes dead.

7:16 PM: Emergency call comes in concerning a fight. A scream for help could be heard.

7:16 PM: Gunshot was heard on emergency 911 call.

7:19 PM: Neighbor takes pictures of injuries to Zimmerman. Police take him into custody.

Jeantel was on the phone for a long, agonizing 3.5 to 4 minutes. It’s difficult to ignore that during this time, Zimmerman didn’t know where Martin was. It would seem obvious that this time was used to set up an ambush of Zimmerman. Arguments to the contrary do not allude to why Martin didn’t choose to return to the residence he was temporarily residing.

What we do know with certainty is that the phone call went dead about the time screams for help could be heard. It was crystal clear that Martin jumped Zimmerman. But why?

The reason could be in the very phone call Martin was having with Jeantel. During the trial, Jeantel took the stand, and under examination, stated, “[Martin] said a ‘crazy ass cracker’ was following him.”

Let’s stop there.

On the stand, Jeantel refused to acknowledge that the statement was construed as a racial slur. While it seemed the racial witch hunt would envelope Zimmerman, it was clear that racism was present in both Jeantel and Martin. And as the evidence later showed in an investigation by the FBI, racism was never shown to be a factor on Zimmerman’s behalf.

Zimmerman: Before, During and After the Trial

Opinions vary greatly as the prosecution and defense rested their cases in the Zimmerman murder trial. A sore subject of late, it would seem obvious this entire debacle has further divided us (as if we needed another blow to race relations). But how are these opinions being formed within us all? What elements allow us to shape how we view everything from the incident to the verdict?

Normally working online, I was able to keep up with the trial and finally, deliberations. The jury was handed the case today, who by witness accounts seemed to want the trial to end (melting expressions). Would it also mean the disinterest in closing arguments that the jurors already had their minds made up?

Maybe so.

Many have formed opinions about what the verdict should be. I mean, why wouldn’t they when the media and other entities are looking for either unrest or the spotlight? Media ratings are of great concern due to misinformation, as it appeared they went above and beyond traditional coverage. In fact, one outlet even edited information to form a bad opinion of Zimmerman.

NBC was caught with their hand in the cookie jar. It was revealed NBC edited the 911 recording depicting Zimmerman as a profiler and wannabe cop that served as the captain of the Neighborhood Watch program. NBC claimed that it was an innocent mistake. But when I viewed the video on how it would have to be intentional, I was convinced the media was about to make this incident an opportunity to not only harvest ratings, but also serve as a catalyst to further an apparent agenda in this country.

I’ve taken my time on this story as it has unfolded, viewing the factual and circumstantial evidence. The matter is abuzz everywhere, so naturally we’ve all been talking a lot about it. Some passionately. But what I’ve found striking is that many pulling for a conviction got their information through the mainstream media.

Also known as the liberal media.

Not surprisingly, the information of these trial spectators is either skewed or wrong completely. So I decided to lay it all out there from start to finish. The media has their version, and I have mine. Since I have no bias either way in this case (meaning I looked at the facts and didn’t decide or opinionate based upon race or political party), it’s really a no-brainer. I’ll break this into three parts: Before the Trial, During the Trial, and After the Trial. No worries, I’ll make them as easy to read as possible, and will not get hung up long before moving on.

The easiest way to begin this is by retelling what happened, as factual events only. As mentioned earlier, the media was up to their no good antics from the offset in what I would equate to inciting a riot. The media was using race to elevate their ratings, but the consequences of possibly sparking unrest didn’t seem important to them.

In the first part, Zimmerman: Before the Trial, a timeline will be presented. Readers are asked to think independently and with an impartial mind.

Bill Cosby: Cut the Blame Game!

Recently I shared a story about a teacher who taught children at a predominantly black school. While some of what the author stated may be against what many would call the norm, I also was compelled to make comparisons to my own experiences.

Doing some research, I ran across a speech Bill Cosby gave at the 50th anniversary of Brown vs. The Board of Education, in which school segregation was ruled unconstitutional. Going against the unwritten rule of not airing the dirty laundry of the black community, Cosby implored blacks, and all other races, to take responsibility for themselves and quit blaming others for their so-called despair.

Didn’t somebody by the name of Martin Luther King Jr. also have the same view?

Many are focused on the trial of George Zimmerman, and its outcome. Leading up to this point, race relations seemed to already be strained, and may change for the worse due to the result of this trial. Rumors are widespread that riots may be forthcoming; that unrest will follow. This trial, and events like them previously, seem to hurt our chances of race harmony over and over. It’s time something is done to remedy this, and will take much effort from all to achieve.

But first, we must take responsibility for ourselves.

We Can’t Blame White People, Any Longer – Bill Cosby

They’re standing on the corner and they can’t speak English.
I can’t even talk the way these people talk:
Why you ain’t,
Where you is,
What he drive,
Where he stay,
Where he work,
Who you be…
And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk.
And then I heard the father talk.
Everybody knows it’s important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can’t be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth.

In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living.

People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an Education, and now we’ve got these knuckleheads walking around.
The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal.

These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids $500 sneakers for what?
And they won’t spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics.

I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit.
Where were you when he was 2?
Where were you when he was 12?
Where were you when he was 18 and how come you didn’t know that he had a pistol?
And where is the father? Or who is his father?
People putting their clothes on backward:
Isn’t that a sign of something gone wrong?
People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn’t that a sign of something?

Isn’t it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her body?

What part of Africa did this come from?

We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don’t know a thing about Africa.

I say this all of the time. It would be like white people saying they are European-American. That is totally stupid.
I was born here, and so were my parents and grand parents and, very likely my great grandparents. I don’t have any connection to Africa, no more than white Americans have to Germany , Scotland , England , Ireland , or the Netherlands . The same applies to 99 percent of all the black Americans as regards to Africa .

So stop, already! ! !

With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap – and all of them are in jail.

Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person’s problem.
We have got to take the neighborhood back.
People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different ‘husbands’ — or men or whatever you call them now.
We have millionaire football players who cannot read.
We have million-dollar basketball players who can’t write two paragraphs. We, as black folks have to do a better job.
Someone working at Wal-Mart with seven kids, you are hurting us.
We have to start holding each other to a higher standard. We cannot blame the white people any longer.
