The Deception of Obamacare – Part 1
The scariest part of the current government is that half the nation believes what our president says and does. Setting the facts aside and ranting based upon racism and liberal agendas, supporters of our defunct government are anything but informed. A closer look at the facts may, if minds are willing to open to all arguments, make a difference in the treacherous direction our country is travelling.
As the informed already know, Obamacare was signed in to law without being read by congress. In fact, in August 2012, Dr. Barbara Bellar of Chicago, Illinois, summed up Obamacare with the following sentence:
“So, let me get this straight (this is a long sentence), we’re going to be gifted with a healthcare plan we are forced to purchase, and fined if we don’t, which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a congress that didn’t read it, but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, for which we will be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke… so what the blank could possibly go wrong?”
The list goes on, as deception is part of the new health care law. Dubbed The Affordable Healthcare Act, the law is clearly becoming anything but affordable, not to mention the effects it’s having on jobs, the economy and the very fabric of America as a whole.
It also hurts the insured.
Catherine Blackwood lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and manages the Family Medicine Center. She has cancer. In November 2013, Obamacare caused her to lose her insurance policy that had been paying for her cancer medications. Her new Obamacare policy does not cover her cancer medications.
So, exactly who is the new healthcare law supposed to really help? At every turn, it seems it is hurting those who normally have insurance, even before the law was signed. Some have even equated it to taking from those who pay taxes and are otherwise responsible citizens and giving to those who are quite the opposite. The bigger picture would indicate a socialist agenda by the Obama Administration.
